Officia Leadership Thomas Deverell – CEO and President

Tom Deverell has over 30 years of leadership experience in the office technology industry with proven expertise in business turnarounds, acquisitions, revenue growth, process improvement, management development, employee satisfaction and customer retention.

Mr. Deverell began his business career as controller at Kex Copy Products in Buffalo, New York in 1977. He became CFO and then General Manager of the company in 1982. During his seven-year tenure as General Manager, Kex Copy Products saw its revenue triple.

As President of San Sierra Business Systems, Mr. Deverell turned around the company’s record of five straight years of income loss, and achieved all goals including revenue, cash generation, and operating income.

As Vice President of Alco Office Products, Mr. Deverell was responsible for supporting all under-performing Alco Companies. He assisted with the development of a new strategic and tactical business plan involving sales, service, finance, marketing and administration. He also personally mentored each of the eight presidents who reported directly to his position. During his first year, the operating income of these companies grew 17%.

As the President of CopyLine Corporation (an IKON company) located in San Diego CA, Mr. Deverell turned an annual loss of over $2 million into a profit of $6.6 million. He launched an outsourcing division and grew its revenue from zero to $10 million, and achieved the highest employee satisfaction rating in IKON’s first worldwide employee satisfaction survey in 1998.

Before founding Officia Imaging Inc., Mr. Deverell served as President, IKON Office Solutions, and Northwest District. He was responsible for IKON Business Services, IKON Technology Services, IKON Management Services, IKON Legal Document Services and IKON Business Document Services. Recruited to turnaround the District, he successfully took a 1998 loss of $35 million and turned it into a profit of $24 million in 1999. During his tenure in this position, revenues grew to over $700 million and operating income grew in excess of $80 million.

Mr. Deverell has a BS in Finance & Marketing from Albany State University.

Hank Ditto – Chief Financial Officer

Hank has nearly 20 years of senior level management experience in the office equipment industry with companies such as MWB Business Systems, Global Imaging Systems, and County Business Systems.

He has a strong record of achieving targeted business objectives and is a personable leader. Hank has consistently improved the financial performance of companies he has worked at through effective business analysis, system design and process improvement. He is a Best Practices expert in finance operations with a track record of implementing standardized processes that increase efficiency and performance. Hank earned the elite Global Leader recognition for his top performance at Global Imaging, resulting from his unique ability to analyze and improve business processes.

Hank’s areas of responsibility include business strategy, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis. Hank also manages the accounting, financial operations and administration functions.

Prior to entering the office technology industry, Hank was a business owner and Licensed General Contractor, a Deputy Sheriff and Detective for the County of Los Angeles and served in U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Fred Peterson – Customer Service Director

Fred has over 30 years of field service management experience in the office equipment industry and is well-known for his skills in managing field support operations, hiring and developing strong technical teams, and consistently delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.

Prior to joining Officia, Fred worked at IKON Office Solutions. He most recently held the position of Field Service Manager in the Customer Satisfaction Division.  Through excellent leadership skills and attention to detail, Fred’s team was constantly in the top 10% of the country for overall key performance indicators. His extensive experience and commitment to customer service also contributed to his success and put his team in the top 5% for outstanding service response time and customer satisfaction.

Through hard work, superior organizational skills and a proven commitment to quality service, Fred became one of the best Field Service Managers in IKON. Over his career Fred has received numerous Service Excellence awards and recognition including, Field Service Manager of the Quarter, Field Service Manager of the Year and President’s Club.
